Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Chemical Sales Engineer / Chemical Engineer to develop and expand sales of industrial chemicals across the UAE and GCC markets. The candidate will be responsible for promoting products including nitric acid and other industrial chemicals, managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales of industrial chemicals including:
- Nitric Acid
- Sulfuric Acid
- Hydrochloric Acid
- Caustic Soda
- Solvents and specialty industrial chemicals
- Identify new customers and business opportunities in industries such as:
- Metal finishing
- Electroplating
- Water treatment
- Manufacturing
- Oil & Gas
- Mining and industrial processing
- Visit customers regularly to understand technical and commercial requirements
- Provide technical support and chemical application guidance to clients
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for timely delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and distributors
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands
- Ensure compliance with chemical handling and safety regulations
- Prepare sales reports and achieve monthly/annual sales targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 3+ years experience in industrial chemical sales or chemical trading
- Good knowledge of industrial chemicals and their applications
- Experience with hazardous chemicals and chemical handling regulations is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills
- UAE driving license preferred
- Ability to travel within UAE and GCC when required
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
Preferred Skills
- Technical understanding of acids, solvents, and industrial chemical processes
- Strong B2B sales experience
- Knowledge of import/export and industrial supply chain
- Ability to generate new leads and manage key accounts independently
