Job Summary

The Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while demonstrating expertise in multiple cuisines.

The role involves menu planning, food preparation, kitchen management, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes from multiple cuisines, including but not limited to Indian, Arabic, Continental, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Develop and update menus based on customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and business requirements.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Monitor food stock levels and coordinate purchasing requirements.
  • Maintain food cost control and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food preparation procedures.
  • Inspect ingredients and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage special dietary requirements and customized meal requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of kitchen equipment and work areas.
