This is a full-time, on-site Chef role based in Lusail, Qatar.
The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, designing creative menus, sourcing fresh ingredients, and adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
The role also involves training and supervising kitchen staff, managing kitchen inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of meal preparation and kitchen activities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu creation
- Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and kitchen equipment maintenance
- Ability to lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a team-oriented environment
- Inventory management skills to ensure ingredients are available and wastage is minimized
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple dishes under time constraints
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to consistently delivering exceptional dishes
- Formal culinary training or a diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience in fine-dining kitchens is an advantage
- Proficiency in creating diverse cuisines and menu customization**
