Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Demi Chef De Partie based in Doha, Qatar at Voco Doha West Bay Suites by IHG.

The role involves preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while ensuring standards and hygiene protocols are maintained.

The Demi Chef De Partie will collaborate with other team members to develop culinary delights, assist in menu creation, monitor food storage, and maintain overall efficiency in the kitchen.

This position also requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills and experience in food preparation and presentation
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation standards and food safety protocols
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and assist in creative menu development
  • Proficiency in time management and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certifications would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an upscale hotel or fine-dining environment, is highly desirable
  • Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
