About This Role
Overview
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, such as the grill, saut , or pastry station, and ensuring that all dishes prepared in that section meet the restaurant's standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
With a focus on execution and teamwork, the Chef de Partie plays a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes and contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality mise en place and service for the assigned section, following hotel recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure proper storage and rotation (FIFO).
- Support menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates with the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
- Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and used safely.
- Train and guide Commis Chefs to develop skills and maintain section performance.
- Communicate effectively with the culinary and service teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Uphold all brand standards, grooming requirements, and hotel values at all times.
