Supervise and coordinate on-site interior fit-out activities to meet project quality, safety, and timeline goals.
Lead a small team and provide hands-on technical guidance across fit-out trades.
Site supervision and delivery
- Direct a small team and ensure work follows specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate daily tasks and resources with site supervisors and engineers.
- Inspect work quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Resolve site issues and delays and report progress and challenges to foremen, supervisors, and engineers.
- Manage material deliveries and usage to avoid shortages and wastage.
- Keep the site clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Safety and trade work
- Enforce health and safety compliance, conduct site checks, and deliver daily toolbox talks.
- Perform carpentry, joinery, partitioning, flooring, ceilings, and door work when required.
- Train and mentor junior workers and monitor team performance with feedback.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum five years of interior fit-out experience, including hands-on carpentry, joinery, partitioning, and installation work.
- Strong fit-out process knowledge and ability to read technical drawings.
- Ability to lead a small team and deliver work on time and to a high standard.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills; strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, with ability to enforce them.
- Strong communication and experience managing on-site materials efficiently.
- Physical fitness for on-site manual work and extended standing.
