Overview

Job Location: Abu Dhabi (KEZAD / Al Ain) Job Type: Full-Time

The Certification Program Manager (Type Certificate) owns the planning and control of LODD s HIli UAS Type Certification (TC) program, ensuring the certification effort is properly structured, scheduled, and executed to meet authority expectations and internal milestones.

The role maintains the TC certification program baseline, deliverable map, submission calendar, and Level of Involvement (LOI) inputs, and coordinates cross-functional execution with engineering and test teams.

The CPM TC provides disciplined progress reporting, drives readiness reviews, and escalates schedule/compliance risks when needed.

Working closely with the Authority Liaison, Airworthiness Compliance Manager, Configuration/Change/Compliance Coordinator, and CVE governance, the CPM TC ensures evidence production, test notifications, and submission packages remain aligned, coherent, and on plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and control the TC certification program baseline (IMS), including milestones, dependencies, and critical path.
  • Create and maintain the deliverable map/indexes linking certification objectives to plannedevidence deliverables and submission packages.
  • Own the submission plan and calendar for TC deliverables, ensuring internal readiness gates are scheduled and met.
  • Integrate engineering, ground test and flight test plans into the certification program and ensure consistency of assumptions, configurations and interfaces across teams.
  • Coordinate development of LOI inputs and ensure that authority engagement events, reviews and planned investigations are reflected in program baselines.
  • Drive and chair (or support) readiness reviews, ensuring action closure and clear go/no-go decisions for planned submissions and test events.
  • Coordinate planned test notifications through the Authority Liaison and ensure that test timing and readiness are reflected in program reporting.
  • Ensure alignment of the program structure with the compliance checklist structure and compliance closure strategy (in coordination with airworthiness compliance).
  • Provide regular progress, decision and readiness dashboards; identify trends, blockers, and forecast risks to submissions and key milestones.
  • Escalate schedule/compliance difficulties and recommend recovery actions or replans to the Chief of Airworthiness / overall program leadership as required.
