Directs and coordinates the administration and workflow of an ambulatory center.
Contributes to the center’s strategic plan and its implementation.
Leadership and operations
- Acts as an effective change agent and oversees relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Requests medications, supplies, and equipment according to center needs and organizational policies.
- Recruits staff according to work needs, approved manpower, and organizational policies.
- Plans, manages, and controls budgets for clinic services, resources, and facilities.
- Submits required reports and contributes to local and group committees.
- Leads staff engagement initiatives and coordinates continuing education and training.
Quality, safety, and compliance
- Monitors patient satisfaction, complaints, and DAMA data, and develops corrective action plans.
- Monitors clinical and administrative performance indicators, identifies trends, and addresses suboptimal performance.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements, including CBAHI, JCI, and CHI.
- Ensures a safe and functional environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications and experience
- Requires 10 or more years of healthcare-sector experience.
- Requires at least 5 years of leadership experience in recognized medical centers.
- Requires an MBBCh or MD medical-school qualification.
- Specialty (residency) training is preferred.
Skills and languages
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Requires excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
