CDS/UVM Health Network @ CVPH Speech Language Pathologist

The Communication Disorders and Sciences ( CDS )

at the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh contracts with UVM Health Network @ Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital ( CVPH ) to provide per diem inpatient and outpatient speech-language pathology services.

The College is currently seeking qualified applicants to perform these duties, as well as supervision of CDS graduate students as required.

This vita bank exists to provide a pool of candidates who might be available to fill anticipated positions as needed.

Masters degree, NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, ASHA certification, and experience in an acute care setting.

The College’s 256-acre campus sits on the edge of the city’s downtown area.

Plattsburgh is home to a variety of arts and cultural venues, including the nearly 100-year-old Strand Theatre.

Our active waterfront location features a small town feel combined with the advantages and opportunities of a larger urban center.

The Plattsburgh area offers excellent schools, a vast health network and elder care services, along with wide retail offerings.

It is an emerging home to microbreweries, wineries, community supported agriculture and more.

The campus is within easy traveling distance to Montreal, Quebec; Lake Placid, N.Y.; and Burlington, V.T.
