CDL Driver

Qualifications:

• Must maintain your CDL endorsement on your license and meet the CDL physical requirements. High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred but not required. Forklift License, Class A and ICC physical card required. Ability to perform duties with little or no work direction. (most duties are performed without direct supervision) Must understand and comply with all DOT rules and regulations. Truck inspections and logs must be maintained on a shiftily basis to comply with DOT regulation. Any and all repairs must be logged and communicated to both your supervisor and to the truck shop. Must always operate equipment in accordance with all Federal, State and Local Laws. Prefer two years’ experience in Shipping. Understand and comply with International regulations in regards to lumber. USDA, APHIS and American Lumber Association. Familiar with the use of hoists, truck, pallets, common hand tools, computer, Bobcat, overhead crane and nail guns. Ability to read and understand work instructions. (English) Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member. Must be able to safely perform essential job responsibilities. Ability to take supervision. Regular full-time attendance.
