CDL A Trainee Driver - Paid Training Job Type: Driving

Blue Ridge Haulers is hiring recent CDL-A graduates for our Eastern Regional Fleet. Just finished CDL school? Skip the guesswork. We offer structured hands-on training, reliable home time, and guaranteed weekly pay from your first day on the road. This role is ideal for new drivers who hold a valid Class A CDL but do not yet have professional tractor-trailer experience. Drivers complete a mentorship program before moving into steady regional freight, running mostly no-touch drop-and-hook loads in modern equipment.

Immediate transition to full solo pay and your own truck upon completion

Consistent Earnings and Miles (After Training)

$1,400 to $1,600 per week average solo pay

$1,800 per week for top earners

Average 2,800 miles per week

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • Age 21 or older
  • Minimum 120 hours of CDL school instruction (recent graduates considered individually)
  • No professional driving experience required
  • Clean driving record meeting company, DOT, and FMCSA safety standards
