About This Role

Job Purpose

The Catering Sales Manager is a senior commercial role responsible for owning, driving, and growing company’s catering revenue across the UAE.

The role carries full commercial accountability for the catering sales channel from strategy and business development through to client management, proposal ownership, and revenue delivery.

Operating as a key contributor within the B2B Sales division, the role leads the development of company’s catering business across corporate clients, luxury hospitality groups, government entities, VIP and private clients, event agencies, and premium event organizers.

The Catering Sales Manager is expected to independently drive the full sales cycle from market prospecting and client acquisition through proposal development, commercial negotiation, contract closing, and post-event account growth.

Beyond transactional selling, the role is expected to shape the catering commercial strategy, identify growth opportunities, build a high-value client portfolio, and position the company as the premium catering partner of choice across the UAE market.

The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and commercial ownership, requiring a proven luxury sales professional with strong UAE market relationships and a track record of revenue delivery.

Commercial Ownership & Revenue Delivery

  • Own and deliver the catering revenue target for UAE, with accountability for monthly and annual sales performance.
  • Develop and execute the catering business development strategy in alignment with the overall B2B commercial plan.
  • Identify, prioritize, and convert high-value catering opportunities across corporate, luxury hospitality, government, and premium private event segments.
  • Manage the full commercial cycle: prospecting, pitching, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and account retention.
  • Establish and manage a structured pipeline with clear revenue forecasting and business update reporting to the Head of Sales.

Client Development & Strategic Partnerships

  • Build and manage a portfolio of high-value accounts including corporate clients, luxury hospitality groups, event agencies, wedding planners, government entities, and VIP private clients.
  • Develop long-term strategic partnerships that position the company as the preferred premium catering partner across the UAE market.
  • Conduct senior-level client meetings, presentations, and tastings independently, delivering a luxury-standard client experience at every touchpoint.
  • Grow existing accounts through upselling, relationship deepening, and consistent premium service delivery.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and high-profile occasions to expand the brand's catering reach and commercial network.

Proposal & Solution Development

  • Lead the development of bespoke catering proposals and event concepts tailored to client requirements, going beyond standard catalogue offerings.
  • Advise clients on catering arrangements, menu strategy, event flow, setup, presentation standards, and guest experience design.
  • Develop and own pricing strategies and commercial terms for catering proposals in line with company's brand positioning and margin objectives.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to develop and refine catering concepts, seasonal menus, and premium service offerings.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Coordination

  • Act as the primary commercial lead for all catering operations, coordinating across culinary, operations, logistics, procurement, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide commercial direction and brief internal stakeholders on client requirements, event specifications, and delivery standards.
  • Support and mentor junior team members within the B2B catering function, contributing to capability building across the division.
  • Liaise with Marketing on catering campaigns, seasonal activations, and client-facing materials aligned to company's premium brand standards.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Growth

  • Monitor UAE market trends, competitor activities, emerging catering segments, and premium event opportunities to inform commercial strategy.
  • Identify and develop new catering verticals, client segments, and geographic expansion opportunities within the UAE and support international growth ambitions where relevant.
  • Provide regular market intelligence, client feedback, and revenue performance insights to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the annual catering business planning process, providing commercial input on targets, growth initiatives, and resource requirements.

Experience requirement

  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality sales, catering sales, premium food & beverage, or high-end event sales with a strong track record of revenue delivery and business development within the UAE.
  • Proven commercial ownership experience with demonstrated ability to manage sales targets, pipelines, and revenue accountability independently.
  • UAE market experience is mandatory, with an established network across corporate, luxury hospitality, government, and premium events sectors.
  • Background from 5-star hotels, luxury catering companies, luxury hospitality groups, premium event companies, or high-end F&B brands is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close senior-level accounts and manage complex, high-value commercial relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to divisional planning and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with culinary, operations, logistics, and marketing teams at a senior commercial level.
  • Mentoring or team development experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent proposal writing, consultative selling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Highly presentable, commercially driven, and capable of representing the company at the highest levels of client engagement.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple high-value accounts and events simultaneously.
  • Experience managing VIP clients, government accounts, and luxury events is essential.
  • Qualification and Licenses requirement:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field — required.
  • Valid UAE Driving License required.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
