Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across demand, sourcing, fulfilment, and supplier management.
• Align procurement strategies with business objectives and priorities through stakeholder partnerships.
• Lead RFx processes, negotiations, and contract development and execution.
• Build supplier relationships that improve performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage risk, compliance, and governance across supplier arrangements and procurement activities.
• Create a pipeline of initiatives that balances short-term delivery and long-term planning.
• Develop business cases using data, analytics, and financial modelling.
• Provide commercial advice to stakeholders across the business.
• Improve procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Support and guide Procurement Analysts on project delivery when required.

About you

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and category strategy development.
• Ability to lead sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier engagements.
• Commercial acumen with financial analysis, cost modelling, and business case development experience.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influence skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Cross-functional teamwork and end-to-end project management experience.
