Gate Store is looking for a friendly, reliable cashier to serve customers and handle checkout transactions.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and process sales at the counter or POS system.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately; scan items, apply discounts or promotions, and issue receipts.
- Bag and pack purchases neatly.
- Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
- Handle customer questions, returns, and exchanges politely.
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized; help with restocking and shelf tidying when needed.
Requirements
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred; freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good basic math skills, attention to detail, honesty, punctuality, and responsibility.
- Good communication skills in English, Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu.
- Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and holidays; able to stand for long periods.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,200–1,800 per month.
