Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system; process sales, calculate costs, collect payments, and ensure accurate billing.
- Provide correct change, maintain cash denominations, request change when necessary, and reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts at shift end.
- Report POS, register, or equipment issues; process returns, exchanges, and layaway transactions under company policy.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area; scan and bag products accurately.
- Stay current on promotions, advertisements, discounts, and products; help customers with questions and concerns.
- Follow company policies, cash-handling procedures, and security guidelines.
Requirements
- One year of cashier experience is required; previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of and hands-on experience with POS systems; strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication; accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, responsible, and customer-focused; must be willing and available to relocate anywhere within the UAE.
Employment and workplace
- Full-time, contract role; work location is in person.
