Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter with a strong background in luxury villa interior fit-out projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry works, including the installation of bespoke joinery, cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, wall paneling, and other custom woodwork, while ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all carpentry and joinery works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Install custom-made furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, ceiling features, and decorative woodwork.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists accurately.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wooden fixtures and fittings with precision.
- Carry out on-site modifications and adjustments when required.
- Ensure all carpentry works meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Inspect materials before installation and report any defects or shortages.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Assist in resolving on-site installation issues and ensure timely completion of snagging works.
Requirements
- Minimum
- 3–5 years of experience
- as a Carpenter in an interior fit-out company.
- Proven experience working on
- luxury villa
- projects in the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of custom joinery, woodwork installation, and interior finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings.
- Skilled in using carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of handling site-based work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-end residential and luxury villa fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of premium materials such as veneer, solid wood, laminate, HPL, and decorative finishes.
- Familiarity with UAE construction and safety standards.
