Carpentry and maintenance duties
- Carry out carpentry maintenance, repairs, and installations across assigned facilities.
- Repair and maintain doors, frames, partitions, cabinets, cupboards, shelves, tables, chairs, and other wooden fixtures.
- Install, adjust, and repair door locks, hinges, handles, closers, and related hardware.
- Repair or replace damaged plywood, MDF, laminate, veneer, and other wood-based components.
- Take accurate measurements, prepare materials, and interpret basic drawings and work instructions.
- Perform minor joinery and furniture modifications.
- Conduct preventive inspections, identify defects, and complete work orders within required response and completion times.
- Use saws, drills, planers, sanders, routers, and hand tools safely and correctly.
- Perform basic sanding, polishing, varnishing, painting, and touch-up finishing as needed.
- Clean work areas, follow health and safety requirements, and report events that may affect safety or company reputation.
Qualifications
- ITI, vocational certificate, or diploma in carpentry, joinery, or a related trade is preferred.
- Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, fittings, and installation methods.
- Experience maintaining doors, furniture, cabinets, partitions, and wooden fixtures.
- Ability to take accurate measurements and perform basic calculations.

- Work is performed in person.
