Position summary and work expectations
- Deliver items to guests in their rooms and support housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, and other hotel areas.
- Help guests and associates get needed items when and where they need them.
- Follow safety requirements, company policies and procedures, confidentiality expectations, and quality standards.
- Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications and physical demands
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move through confined or elevated spaces, stairs, or service ramps.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to read and visually verify information, inspect tools or equipment, and perform bending, twisting, reaching, and stooping tasks.
