Role overview
Engineer - Camunda BPM Developer role supporting entity onboarding and payment processing workflows.
Work includes modeling, development, testing, deployment, administration, and support in a Kubernetes/OKE environment.
Experience requirement: 6+ years.
Responsibilities
- Model and develop BPMN workflows with Camunda Modeler for entity onboarding and payment processing.
- Build workflow services using the Camunda Java SDK or Camunda Node.js SDK; interact with the engine through Zeebe gRPC/REST and test with Postman.
- Monitor process instances with Camunda Operate and Tasklist; write Zeebe workflow tests with JUnit or Jest.
- Support Camunda CI/CD on OKE, including Azure DevOps pipelines, Ingress, facade deployment and troubleshooting, and application and Key Vault configuration.
- Administer Camunda backups, upgrades and patches, environment libraries, and repositories.
- Troubleshoot workflow execution and bottlenecks; work with application teams to define SLAs for critical flows.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams, and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred experience
- Payment or transaction processing systems experience is a plus.
- Camunda certification is a plus.
- Exposure to Mulesoft ESB and Anypoint Platform or Solace is a plus.
