Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure mechanical spares, consumables, and maintenance services as per plant requirements.
- Obtain quotations, conduct price negotiations, and finalize purchase orders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and stores teams for technical clarifications and procurement planning.
- Track order execution, deliveries, and service completion to ensure compliance with timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, documentation, and audit requirements.
- Timely MIS reports and cost tracking

BE in Mechanical/Electrical/E&C/IP preferred or MBA in SCM
5-7+ years of experience in procurement of spares and maintenance services in manufacturing, engineering, steel, cement, chemical, or similar industries.
