Responsibilities

• · Create, manage and expedite open orders to meet business and production schedules.
• · Own and develop supplier relationships, monitor performance and resolve supply or delivery issues.
• · Source and issue requests for quotation, negotiating price, lead time and terms to secure best value.
• · Conduct due diligence on new and existing suppliers.
• · Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure procurement processes are followed.
• · Work closely with other departments including accounts payable, inventory and warehousing/logistics.
• · Identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Profile and requirements
• You will ideally have:
• · Experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain
• · Previous experience of ERP/MRP systems
• · An understanding of supply chain risk
• · The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• · A practical, problem-solving mindset
