Business Systems Analyst

Position overview

Role responsibilities

• Elicit, review, analyze, and validate system and user needs; document stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements and obtain signoff.
• Facilitate subject matter expert workshops for system configuration and help identify, assess, and prioritize business problems and improvements.
• Support end users, troubleshoot issues, and streamline service delivery; develop stakeholder communications.
• Deliver projects using accepted Agile methods and follow PCL’s solution delivery framework.
• Develop user acceptance testing results, track issues, report statuses, and gain signoff.
• Maintain customer-focused stakeholder relationships and model a solution-provider and profitability culture.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in Information Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of progressive experience in a related field.
• Experience in UI/UX design for business application requirements; Figma proficiency is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, organization, time management, prioritization, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels, conduct meetings, and deliver presentations.
• Ability to assess impacts, make recommendations, and integrate changes.
• Knowledge and practical experience with intermediate software implementations, software development lifecycle methodologies, and organizational change management.
• Ability to interpret stakeholder needs and recommend solutions that support project and company-wide objectives.
