Business Intelligence Analyst

Role overview

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the labor-costing dashboard, provide training, update monthly data after Oracle ledger close, and adapt the tool to business needs.
• Support labor-rate calculations with HR and BPSS, maintain unallocated labor reports, and assist with labor-costing investigations.
• Build efficient Finance reporting processes, new reports, and analysis views; improve data consistency and reduce repeated manual analysis.
• Automate recurring monthly accounting transactions and develop analytical tools and visualizations for decision-making, exception reporting, and financial monitoring.
• Supervise student employees responsible for timecard administration, supporting accuracy, compliance, and service.

Requirements and qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institution.
• Advanced Excel, including Power Query and complex data analysis; advanced Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, visualization design, and performance optimization.
• Advanced Power Automate skills and experience with large, complex datasets from multiple systems and sources.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills; ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or operational reporting experience is preferred.
• Oracle Cloud, SAP, or similar ERP experience is listed; a professional designation such as CPA, CBIP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related certification is an asset.
