The role targets the UAE construction market and involves opportunities from first contact through contract award.
Business development responsibilities
- Identify and secure turnkey piling, shoring, foundation, and enabling works projects across the UAE.
- Build a pipeline of prospective projects, clients, and machinery rental opportunities; source leads through networks, site visits, referrals, and outreach.
- Develop relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, project owners, and construction companies.
- Identify machinery rental needs and generate rental enquiries and contracts.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams on technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage opportunities through prequalification, tendering, quotation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Maintain client relationships during delivery and track pipeline, proposal status, expected awards, and business generated.
Requirements
- Proven business development experience in piling, foundations, shoring, enabling works, or a closely related construction sector.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and win construction projects or heavy machinery rental business.
- Knowledge of turnkey piling scopes, tendering, and the UAE construction market; experience taking leads through quotations, negotiation, and award.
- Strong relationships with UAE contractors, developers, consultants, or project owners and strong commercial, communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Experience selling or renting piling rigs and construction machinery, a civil engineering qualification, and a valid UAE driving license are preferred.
Compensation
- Compensation is AED 12,000 per month plus commission; a company car and fuel are provided.
