The Business Development Manager in Marketing and Advertising is a crucial role responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Identify and create opportunities for new business in marketing and advertising sectors.
- Manage relationships with current and prospective clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Research and analyze market trends and competitors to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored marketing and advertising solutions for clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients.
- Lead negotiations on contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Monitor and report on business development activities and progress against targets.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance business prospects.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, breakthroughs, and best practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff within the business development team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development within marketing and advertising.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and advertising principles and techniques.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- High level of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination to succeed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools is required.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to drive initiatives.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze and solve complex business problems.
