Position Overview
The IT Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s IT products, solutions, and services.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technology understanding, sales excellence, and strong communication skills.

Business Growth & Strategy
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT products/solutions/services domain.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and partnerships.
Sales & Client Acquisition
- Engage with potential clients to understand their technology needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Present IT offerings through demos, presentations, proposals, and solution briefs.
- Prepare high-quality RFP/RFI responses, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Close deals and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Must have sold and generated IT services business in UAE market
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with delivery and technical teams for seamless project implementation.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal product, marketing, and technical teams for solution positioning.
- Provide market insights and feedback to support product development and service improvement.
- Participate in internal sales meetings, forecasting, and reporting activities.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
Experience
- 8yrs plus years of experience in IT sales/business development.
- Proven track record in selling IT services, enterprise technology solutions.
Technical & Business Skills
- Strong understanding of IT products, cloud technologies, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships and influence decision-makers.
Personal Attributes
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
