We are supporting a UAE‑based engineering and manufacturing group with a strong international footprint in the appointment of a Business Development Executive for its Process Division.
This role suits a senior “hunter” profile with deep exposure to process packages, modular systems, and turnkey solutions within the Oil, Gas, and Water sectors, particularly across Africa, Iraq, the GCC, and South America.
Scope of Role
You will be responsible for driving global growth by identifying and securing high‑value opportunities for engineered process solutions, working closely with NOCs, IOCs, and Tier‑1 EPC contractors on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for modular process equipment and turnkey solutions
- Leverage established relationships with NOCs, IOCs, and Tier‑1 EPCs (e.g. Petrofac, Saipem, L&T, or similar)
- Lead solution‑based selling, positioning process capabilities such as:
- Gas dehydration & sweetening
- Produced water treatment
- Advanced separation / extraction units
- Own the end‑to‑end tender process, including:
- Bid / No‑Bid strategy
- Technical‑commercial alignment
• Cost Build‑Up (CBU)
- Contract negotiation and closure
- Act as regional SME for Africa (Nigeria, Algeria, etc.), Iraq, and the GCC, ensuring compliance with local content and regulatory requirements
Required Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (highly preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience in Business Development within:
- Process packages
- Modular skid‑mounted systems
- Energy services or EPC‑related environments
- Strong technical understanding of:
- Skid‑mounted process equipment
- Pressure vessels (ASME standards)
- Separation and treatment technologies
- Proven track record of project wins in Iraq and/or Africa
- Excellent commercial judgement across long, complex sales cycles
