Role overview

A newly created, centralized business development role in Savills’ UAE Property Management business.

Grow the property management portfolio across Sharjah and Dubai by winning landlord and institutional-owner mandates.

The role also creates referral pipeline for leasing, agency, and valuation services and reports directly to senior leadership.

Business development and pipeline

  • Identify residential and commercial block management opportunities across Sharjah and Dubai, focusing on multi-family towers and commercial or industrial assets.
  • Build landlord, developer, and investor relationships and convert leads into signed property management mandates.
  • Present the case for outsourced management to landlords who self-manage or use smaller local operators.
  • Attend building handovers, developer launches, and industry events to secure mandate opportunities.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and fee structures for prospective clients.

Referrals and client relationships

  • Introduce exclusive leasing mandates for vacant residential buildings and commercial warehouses to the relevant leasing teams.
  • Generate valuation, sales, and commercial agency referrals through landlord and developer relationships.
  • Coordinate key client relationships with internal service-line leads to deliver a joined-up Savills proposition.
  • Build long-term relationships with landlords, developers, and institutional investors and identify expansion, mandate, and retention opportunities.
  • Act as a cultural and linguistic bridge with the Arabic-speaking landlord community.

Market intelligence

  • Track new supply, competitor activity, landlord ownership changes, and market rental trends across property management and leasing.
  • Report pipeline activity, mandate wins, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
  • Represent Savills in the Sharjah market as a senior market practitioner.

Experience and market knowledge

  • At least five years of real estate experience, including at least three years in business development.
  • Deep understanding of property management and experience across Sharjah and Dubai.
  • Knowledge of regulatory differences, market dynamics, and ownership profiles in both emirates.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles; block management mandates typically take three to six months from first meeting to signed agreement.
  • A proven business development record and established landlord and developer relationships across Sharjah and Dubai.
  • Arabic-speaking real estate professional.

Skills and tools

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Goyzer or Yardi and in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid UAE driving license.

What Savills provides

  • Competitive base salary plus structured incentives for mandate signings, leasing commissions, and cross-departmental referrals.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a team within a global brand.
  • Access to international marketing platforms and a client network.
  • Professional development and training support.
  • Modern office environment and collaborative team culture.
