Overview

Our client is a multinational engineering company and they are seeking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive business growth in Qatar by securing specifications, approvals, and sales of engineering solutions across the Oil and Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain senior relationships with major end users in Qatar.
  • Engage early with project teams, FEED contractors, and consultants to secure specifications.
  • Obtain end-user approvals and standardize company solutions.
  • Manage key accounts and expand the customer base.
  • Achieve annual sales targets in coordination with the local distributor.
  • Support vendor registrations and monitor market/competitor activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum).
  • 5+ years of business development/sales experience in Qatar.
  • Strong relationships with key end users (e.g., QatarEnergy, QatarGas, QAPCO, QAFCO, KAHRAMAA).
  • Proven success in specification selling and key account management.
  • Extensive experience with EPCs, MACs, and FEED consultants in Qatar.
  • Track record in vendor registration with major end users.
