Business Development Executive

What you'll own:

→

Generate consistent project leads across fit-out, maintenance (AMC & reactive), and civil works.

Build and manage a pipeline of developers, consultants, FM companies, property owners, and retail chains.

Identify and approach high-value clients — not small jobs.

Build long-term relationships with project managers, consultants, and procurement teams.

Secure repeat business and referrals.

→

Understand client requirements on-site.

Read drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to translate client needs into accurate proposals.

→

Work with estimation to prepare competitive, technically sound quotations.

Hold margin discipline — no blind undercutting.

Negotiate scope, terms, and payment schedules without compromising company position.

Monitor competitors, pricing trends, and demand across the UAE fit-out and maintenance sector.

Identify new developments, tenders, and expansion opportunities.

→

Follow up on payments with accounts.

Enforce contract terms (advances, progress payments, variations).

Support dispute resolution where required.

→

Maintain CRM discipline (leads, meetings, conversions).

Provide weekly pipeline reports.

Be accountable for monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

What we need from you:

✓ UAE experience in business development for fit-out, maintenance, civil, or facility management — non-negotiable ✓ Proven track record of opening high-value accounts and closing them cold ✓ Strong commercial understanding

technical awareness of fit-out, maintenance, civil, and MEP scope ✓ Able to read drawings, BOQs, and specifications confidently ✓ Strong English communication;

Arabic is a strong plus

✓ Confident in face-to-face meetings, site visits, and senior client presentations ✓ Valid UAE Manual Driving Licence (mandatory — no exceptions) ✓ Builder mindset — you create pipelines, you don't wait for them

Who this role isn't for:

– Account managers whose track record is "I managed an existing portfolio" – Sales people without technical literacy — if you can't read a BOQ, you can't sell our work – Anyone expecting warm leads handed over on day one – BD professionals who undercut on price instead of selling on quality – Candidates without genuine UAE fit-out, maintenance, civil, or FM business development experience
