The company operates through a collaborative model that brings together strategy, creative, commercial, production, and operations teams to deliver seamless end-to-end event solutions across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Role Description

This is a hybrid on-site role for a Business Development Executive based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving commercial growth for Class Act Events by identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, building strategic relationships, and supporting the company’s expansion across it's targeted sectors.

The role involves proactive outreach, client engagement, pipeline management, opportunity sourcing, and supporting the submission of qualified RFPs and RFQs.

The candidate will be expected to build strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, event managers, and key stakeholders while maintaining consistent reporting and commercial tracking.

The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Commercial Director to ensure opportunities are aligned with the company’s capabilities, vision, and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • include:
  • Generating and developing new business opportunities within target sectors
  • Identifying and securing qualified RFPs, RFQs, and partnership opportunities
  • Conducting targeted outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and industry events
  • Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Arranging and attending qualified client meetings
  • Supporting upselling and relationship expansion with existing clients
  • Collaborating internally to support proposals, presentations, and commercial strategies
  • Representing Class Act professionally across meetings, exhibitions, networking events, and industry engagements

Qualifications

  • Experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Relations, or Commercial Growth within events, experiential marketing, exhibitions, hospitality, media, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of the UAE market, client landscape, and government/corporate sectors
  • Proven ability to generate leads, secure meetings, and build commercial pipelines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with RFPs, RFQs, and commercial proposals is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven, and highly collaborative environment
  • Highly organized with strong reporting and follow-up skills
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach, CRM tools, and pipeline management is a plus
  • Arabic speaking is highly preferred
  • Existing network within UAE government, events, luxury, real estate, or corporate sectors is a strong advantage
