Business Development & Growth Manager
who can lead our growth strategy, strengthen our business development function, and drive sustainable revenue growth while developing a high-performing team.
Position Overview
The Business Development & Growth Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that accelerate business growth, increase revenue, expand market presence, and build long-term client relationships.
This role requires an accomplished business leader with exceptional commercial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to establish systematic business development processes.
The successful candidate will lead the Business Development team, identify new market opportunities, implement growth strategies, and contribute significantly to the long-term success of the organization.
Strategic Business Development
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term business growth strategies.
- Identify new markets, business opportunities, and revenue streams.
- Expand the company's corporate, government, and institutional client portfolio.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen market presence.
- Prepare annual business development plans aligned with company objectives.
Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue and profitability targets.
- Generate sustainable business opportunities through proactive market engagement.
- Increase repeat business from existing clients through effective relationship management.
- Drive business expansion across the UAE and GCC markets.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, coach, and motivate the Business Development team.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Create a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Establish clear KPIs and measurable objectives for team members.
Business Process Improvement
- Design and implement structured sales processes and business development systems.
- Improve CRM utilization and pipeline management.
- Develop sales policies, reporting systems, and performance dashboards.
- Standardize proposal development and client engagement procedures.
- Introduce best practices that improve operational efficiency.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients.
- Represent the company during executive meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and close high-value contracts.
- Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and client retention.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities.
- Recommend innovative training solutions based on market demand.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Operations, Training, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Ensure seamless project delivery after business acquisition.
- Participate in strategic planning and annual budgeting exercises.
- Support the development of new training programs and business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 8–12 years of business development experience.
- At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience within the Training, Education, Consulting, Learning & Development, or Professional Services sector is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE corporate and government markets.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
