  • Gather, document, and analyze requirements; translate business needs into practical data and process solutions.

  • Document business definitions, data ownership, and data lineage, and participate in governance activities for critical business data.
  • Support data-quality monitoring and remediation; identify inconsistencies, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Process improvement and analytics

  • Analyze processes, identify efficiency, consistency, and control improvements, and support workflow design and implementation.
  • Document business procedures and operating practices and assist with implementing data-management and governance processes.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and business insights; help stakeholders use available data resources.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Collaborate with business users, data stewards, risk partners, technology teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Support training, communication, and adoption activities and participate in working groups, meetings, and project initiatives.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field.
  • Zero to three years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, and collaborative teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.

Preferred qualifications

  • Reporting, analytics, or data-project experience; exposure to financial services, banking, risk management, or corporate functions.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, or process improvement concepts.
  • Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools; knowledge of Agile, project management, or business process improvement methodologies.

Workplace

  • Hybrid schedule: work at an MUFG office or client site four days per week and remotely one day per week.

Compensation

  • Typical base pay range is $86,000–$119,000 in New York/New Jersey and $80,000–$123,000 elsewhere, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
