MUFG invites ambitious, driven individuals to join its 2027 UK Analyst Programme.
The 18-month programme begins with training on products, clients and business strategy.
Analysts learn from experienced professionals and receive support from a buddy, mentor and senior colleagues.
Markets Engineering
- Markets Engineering builds and maintains the systems powering MUFG.
- Areas include pricing and valuation platforms, implementation of quantitative models, and risk and analytics frameworks.
- Work also includes trade and market data infrastructure, margin and PnL deliverables, regulatory submissions and model-governance support.
Candidate profile
- Candidates should have strong interests in mathematics, programming and financial markets.
- Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, motivation, integrity, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should be innovative and able to generate new and creative ideas.
- Candidates must be in their final year of study or have graduated within the last 12 months.
Key dates
- Assessment centres are scheduled for 20 and 27 November 2026.
- Programme start date is 19 July 2027.
- Applications are open until 25 October 2026 and are reviewed on a rolling basis; the opportunity may close earlier.
