Role overview

Accountabilities

• Assess client needs, uncover priorities, and guide business owners toward their goals.
• Recommend strategies for business growth and, where necessary, prepare the business for a successful exit.
• Use coaching and facilitation with owners and families, including challenging personal or family discussions.
• Connect clients with internal experts to address personal and business needs and optimize value.
• Build relationships with business owners, wealth advisors, business bankers, and strategic partners to deepen relationships, acquire clients, and retain them.
• Participate in business development through thought leadership, speaking opportunities, or shareable content.

Skills, experience and requirements

• University degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field, including accounting, finance, MBA, or law.
• Advanced education such as CPA, CBV, or FEA is an asset.
• At least six years of direct client-interaction experience at a financial institution and/or consulting, accounting, or law firm.
• Business transaction experience, including sale preparation, sale, valuation, and post-transaction integration, is an asset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative approach, and ability to work autonomously.
• Confidence presenting and explaining expertise in a clear, educational way.
