Role Overview
As a Business Analyst at Codezal, you will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
You will translate complex business problems into structured requirements, drive data-informed decisions, and ensure that product and process changes deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
▸
Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
▸
Create detailed BRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
▸
Conduct gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
▸
Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure alignment on requirements.
▸
Analyse data sets and produce actionable insights and executive-level reports.
▸
Support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off with business users.
▸
Maintain a clear and up-to-date requirements traceability matrix.
▸
Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
▸
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
▸
2–4 years of business analysis experience in a tech or software environment.
▸
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
▸
Strong command of SQL for querying and validating data.
▸
Experience
with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
▸
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
▸
CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification is preferred.
