Business Analyst Senior Officer

Overview

• Purpose of the Job
• To ensure the delivery of accurate, timely reports and actionable analysis that drive performance monitoring and informed decision-making across the organization, customers, and regulator (Mawani)

Reporting & Analysis

• Develop and maintain Market Performance Reports, Terminal Performance Reports, and Board-level Commercial Updates
• Produce Quarterly Discount Accruals Reports, ensuring alignment with finance and commercial agreements
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends and patterns in Volume and revenue performance
• Support in volume and revenue forecasting

• Business Performance & Insights

• Perform customer analysis to evaluate performance, contribution, and growth opportunities across shipping lines and Landside customers
• Support contract mandate development and ensure alignment with commercial strategy
• Conduct contracts offer calculations, including pricing, volume scenarios, and financial impact
• Manage and track discount and rebate settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements and Finance records

• Market Intelligence & Insights

• Manage and analyses market intelligence, including trade flows, competitor activity, and market trends
• Support management with data-driven insights for strategic and commercial decision-making
• Produce reports and dashboards to ensure effective utilization of data

Education / Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Management / Finance or related fields
