Overview
1.
Operate the Blasting equipment independently for coating removal, surface preparation before coating spraying and other required repair processes.
2.
Repair and Troubleshooting on the equipments once required with individual experience and knowledge.
3.
Maintain the required level of efficiency, productivity and professionalism .
In line with MPW standard.
4.
Provide and maintain a safe work environment.
Comply with MPW rules and regulation work to prevent all injuries.
5.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
6.
Perform and ensure the required Masking Tape and protection for the gas turbine components before any Blasting activity.
7.
Operate the Jib crane and Overhead crane to carry heavy components /material when required.
8.
Ensure that surrounding area of responsibility are kept clean and tidy.
9.
Perform general tasks as instructed by the Factory manager, Factory leader, Repair engineer and shop foreman.
10.
Work closely with shop foreman and engineer and support other team members in all the shop activities.
11.
Maintain the blasting equipment condition and report any abnormality or any requirement for maintenance to the shop foreman.
12.
Maintain the blasting materials, tools and safety equipment in good working condition.
13.
Ensure repair activities are executed in compliance with MPW standard and QHSE requirements.
14.
To comply with any designated task that requires from Factory management.
15.
Perform any other duties to support the business where and when required.
