Biologist 2 (Contract)

Role overview

Duties

• Perform scientific and environmental project assignments involving moderately complex objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on medium-sized projects or assist senior scientists on larger projects.
• Conduct biological field surveys, interpret and analyze data, and plan and manage written environmental reports.
• Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.
• Work in diverse field conditions as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing biological or environmental projects.
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to active participation in a collaborative employee-owned culture.
