The employer is seeking an experienced Big Data Platform Developer focused on big data technologies, data processing, and scalable platform development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain big data platforms and data processing pipelines.
- Work with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and distributed systems.
- Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop automation pipelines and reporting dashboards.
- Manage structured and unstructured data across cloud environments.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Java.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of JSON, CSV, XML, REST APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in distributed systems, microservices, automation, and data visualization.
- Four years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is up to QAR 25,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person.
