Behavior/ABA Therapist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA programs and behavior intervention plans under clinical supervision.
• Conduct one-to-one therapy and apply evidence-based strategies according to treatment plans.
• Collect and maintain data on behavior, skill acquisition, and treatment progress.
• Support communication, social, academic, cognitive, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and communicate with families to support consistent interventions.
• Maintain documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with clinical standards and applicable Qatar regulations.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or another relevant field.
• Sound understanding of ABA principles, behavioral interventions, and data collection procedures.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Must follow treatment plans, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

Preferred qualifications

• RBT, ABAT, or equivalent ABA-related credential is highly preferred.
• ABA Therapist or Behavior Therapist experience may be considered; experience with children with ASD or other developmental or behavioral needs is strongly preferred.
• Current residence in Qatar or relevant Gulf-region experience is an advantage.

Pay

• Pay is QAR 1.00–QAR 3.00 per hour.
