Key Responsibilities

Café Operations & Leadership

• Oversee daily café operations, including monitoring expenses and revenues
• Order and manage supplies (coffee, milk, snacks, ingredients, takeaway items)
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and adequate stock levels
• Take inventory and ensure proper stock rotation and replenishment
• Lead by example, supporting a positive, high-energy team culture

Menu & Product Development

• Add and develop new menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences (including vegan options)
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, recipes, and product availability
• Update signage and displays to attract and engage customers

Customer Experience

• Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
• Explain menu items, specials, and brewing methods confidently
• Build genuine relationships with customers to increase loyalty
• Handle guest complaints and compliments professionally and effectively
• Communicate clearly with guests regarding unavailable or limited items

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain a La Marzocco coffee machine
• Grind and brew coffee to standard recipes and quality guidelines
• Educate customers on coffee origins, blends, and brewing methods
• Continuously improve beverage quality, presentation, and consistency

Food Preparation

• Prepare and package food items such as sandwiches, baked goods, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and salads
• Package food and beverages for takeaway

Hygiene & Standards

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards
• Manage waste and ensure a clean, organized café environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a supervisory or Head Barista role
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and café operations
• Experience with La Marzocco machines is required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude, leadership mindset, and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
• Immediate availability
• Applicants must be fluent in Tagalog

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
