Overview
Responsible for making quality beverages such as hot and cold drinks, smoothies, preparing food orders and making sure to form a good customer relationship.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers
- Prepare and serve drinks such as smoothies, juices, tea and coffee that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all Baristas equipment
- Grinding coffee beans
- Calibrating the coffee machine when necessary
- Responds to orders, questions, concerns and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Passing food from the kitchen to the servers
- Cleaning the drinks and work area, coffee machines and equipment
- Managing the Point of Sale (POS)
- Collecting payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; making change for cash customers, verifying credit acceptance
- Representing the company ethos and vision at all times
- Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas.
