This is a highly visible guest-service position requiring above-average communication and professional guest interaction.
Guest service and shift operations
- Promote guest and associate satisfaction through a strong team environment and prompt, courteous service.
- Supervise restaurant and room-service food and beverage orders; assist with serving, seating, kitchen communication, and speaking with guests.
- Open and close shifts using the manager’s checklist, enforce Anantara service standards, and maintain adequate floor coverage throughout meal periods.
- Maintain a positive guest-facing image, clean guest areas, and ensure that only quality products are served.
Team and operational controls
- Maintain a motivated, well-trained team; support associate performance and implement training for new and current staff.
- Use shift tools such as schedules, floor plans, reservations, and checks; execute revenue and check-control procedures.
- Resolve daily issues such as call-outs and last-minute bookings; coordinate station rotation, schedules, time adjustments, and associate relations.
- Encourage employee problem-solving, recommend incentives and operating improvements, and apply fair counseling or disciplinary procedures under company policy.
- Maintain safe and sanitary conditions and proper uniform standards; coordinate repairs and maintenance using work orders and inspections.
Candidate requirements
- Above-average communication skills and professional interaction with guests are required.
- The role requires the ability to oversee service shifts, support team training, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
