Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts.
The Baker will be responsible for mixing ingredients, preparing dough and batters, operating baking equipment, decorating products, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked products.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures.
- Decorate and present baked goods attractively.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed.
- Clean and organize workstations and equipment.
- Check product quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Previous baking or pastry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or ingredients.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
