- Total experience of up to 5–10 years.
- Good experience handling platform or hosting support functionality.
- Banking experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, learn new technologies, and improve existing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support Java backend services and APIs.
- Analyze requirements and formalize the technical approach for implementation.
- Use test-driven development and implement middleware services end to end.
- Achieve more than 80% code coverage through JUnit test cases.
- Handle penetration testing scenarios and ensure high code quality for bug-free releases.
- Implement security measures to protect user data and application integrity.
- Stay informed about common security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them.
Core technical skills
- Java: object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, Java 8+, Java 21, Lambda, Stream API, REST services, Kotlin, and Groovy.
- Spring Boot: annotations, Gradle, Maven, Spring JPA, Spring AOP, Spring Security, and JUnit.
- Microservices: service mesh, service discovery, cloud configuration, and Spring Cloud.
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Tools: IntelliJ, STS, Eclipse, SoapUI, Postman, Git, Confluence, and Jira.
- Cloud-ready technologies: Docker files, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
