Backend Developer (Python/Django)
We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience in Python and Django to build and maintain our projects.
You will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems, designing APIs, and managing databases.
The role involves ensuring smooth data flow between the server and users while maintaining performance and reliability.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of backend best practices are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Build Features: Write clean, efficient code using Python and Django.
- Create APIs: Use Django REST Framework (DRF) to build the connections that power our web and mobile apps.
- Manage Data: Design and organize our PostgreSQL database to keep data fast and secure.
- Fix & Improve: Fix and optimize the system to keep it running at top speed.
What We Need
- Python Pro: You know Python inside and out.
- Django Experience: You’re comfortable with the Django framework and its ORM.
- API Skills: You have experience building RESTful APIs with DRF.
- Database Knowledge: You can write complex queries and design schemas in PostgreSQL.
- Git: You know how to manage code versions using Git.
- Nice to Have
- Message Brokers: Experience with RabbitMQ for handling communication between services.
- Background Tasks: Experience using Celery (or similar task queues) to run heavy processes in the background.
- Cloud: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
