Avoria is an German Company with active business operations in Europe and Dubai.

Our technical systems support e commerce, operations, logistics, reporting and internal business processes.

We are looking for a backend developer in Dubai who can help us improve APIs, integrations, dashboards and internal tools.

We are looking for a hands on Backend Developer with strong experience in APIs, system integrations, databases and dashboard systems.

You will work closely with our existing in house IT colleague.

The role is designed as additional technical support and backup, not as a replacement and not as a 24 7 emergency role.

We already have working systems in place.

Your job is to understand them, improve them, make them more stable and help us build better technical structures for the future.

Develop, improve and maintain backend systems for internal business use

Build clean and reliable APIs

Improve existing backend logic and data structures

Support stable and scalable system architecture

Make internal tools easier to understand, use and maintain

APIs and Integrations

Connect shop systems, ERP, CRM, payment providers, logistics tools and reporting systems

Build and maintain reliable data flows between different platforms

Improve existing integrations and reduce technical weak points

Support webhook based workflows and third party API connections

Help reduce manual work through better automation

Dashboards and Reporting

Build and improve dashboards for daily operational and management use

Create tools for sales, finance, open invoices, stock, logistics and performance tracking

Work with the team to define useful KPIs

Turn raw data into clear, practical information

Focus on real decision support, not over complicated reporting

Automate repetitive internal tasks

Improve workflows between departments

Reduce dependency on manual Excel work

Build practical tools that save time, reduce errors and improve control

Documentation and Teamwork

Document APIs, systems and important workflows clearly

Share knowledge with the existing IT team

Help reduce single person dependency

Work transparently and in a structured way

Discuss solutions before implementing major changes

Solid backend development experience

Strong understanding of APIs, integrations and databases

with structured data and clean backend logic

Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions

Pragmatic and structured working style

Clear communication

Reliable, focused and solution oriented mindset

Ability to improve existing systems instead of rebuilding everything without reason

Node.js, Python, PHP, Laravel, NestJS or similar backend technologies

REST APIs, webhooks and third party integrations

SQL databases and structured data models

Dashboards, reporting tools or internal admin systems

E commerce, ERP, CRM, logistics or payment integrations

Automation tools or workflow systems

Basic experience with AI APIs or AI assisted workflows is a plus

We are not looking for someone who creates unnecessary complexity

We are not looking for someone who hides knowledge

We are not looking for a 24 7 on call developer

We are not looking for someone who wants to rebuild everything from zero before understanding the existing systems
