The Back End Operator at CROWN KSA operates back-end machinery and equipment to support efficient, safe production of quality products.
Production operations
- Operate and monitor production machinery, including can fillers, seamers, and palletizers, following procedures and safety guidelines.
- Inspect finished products, identify defects or non-conformities, and perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain production speeds and product quality; load and unload materials and products safely.
- Complete production logs and reports accurately and on time.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to support smooth production flow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training; maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production is preferred, preferably with machine operation.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Work environment
- The role involves manufacturing-floor machinery, materials handling, extended standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
