Role Description
We are seeking a Back End Developer for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
As a Back End Developer, you will develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications and APIs.
Responsibilities
include implementing software solutions, working with programming languages, ensuring database performance, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements seamlessly.
You will also ensure code quality and actively troubleshoot production issues as they arise, contributing to scalable and robust software solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Ability to collaborate with Front-End Development teams
- Skilled in multiple Programming languages commonly used in back-end development (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, etc.)
- Familiarity with database management and query optimization techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in a fintech or digital payments environment is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial systems
- Manage Wallet setup (custody and self custody )
- Knowledge of third-party payment or KYC integrations
- Experience working with transaction-heavy or high-reliability systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure best practices
